Born in the hills of Palampur in Himachal Pradesh, Paras Dogra has gone on to represent his state with distinction. A steady accumulator of runs at the domestic level, Dogra was part of the Rajasthan Royals before he was signed by the Kings XI Punjab. While he is not a big hitter, Dogra keeps the scoreboard ticking â€“ often finishing at a run-a-ball. The 28-year-old scored a double hundred, a hundred and a couple of half-centuries in the 2011 Ranji Trophy but couldnâ€™t do much in IPL 2012 for KXIP. He missed out on selection ahead of IPL 2013 but was signed in by the Kolkara Knight Riders mid-way through the tournament to replace the injured Laxmi Ratan Shukla.
