30-year-old Ganapathi Vignesh's career has been a fitful one. Although he made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu back in 2002-03, this all-rounder who bowls brisk medium pace and bats in the lower middle order struggled to keep his place in the team. Vignesh now represents Goa in domestic competitions.
He suited up for the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2010. He was later picked by the Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL 2011, and he will be hoping to make the playing eleven this season.
