Shikongo made his first-class debut in the Sunfoil 3-day Cup against KwaZulu-Natal on February 8th, 2018 and just four days later, he made his List A debut against the same opponent in the CSA Provincial Cup.
The youngster was one of the twenty-five cricketers to be named in Cricket Namibia’s Elite ahead of the 20192-20 season and made his international debut in a T20I fixture against Bostwana in August 19th, 2019.
Ahead of the 2021 T20 World Cup, the 21-year old pacer became a surprise inclusion in the Namibian squad for the premier tournament and he would be hoping to showcase his skills at the highest level to secure his place in the limited-overs squad of Namibia.
