T20 Mumbai League Final erupts into chaos as tempers flare in a shocking on-field clash. In the final clash between the MSC Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri, Rohan Raje and Gaurav Jathar engaged in an ugly fight.

In the high-intensity clash, the unwanted moment grabbed the limelight as the video spread like wildfire. Making the situation worse, both players faced massive setbacks, receiving a one-match ban along with a fine. 

Raje-Jathar’s heated faceoff adds drama to the final clash

Over the last few days, Mumbai cricket fans enjoyed another thrilling edition of the T20 Mumbai League. But the final between MSC Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri delivered more than just cricketing thrills.

As the intensity was already high, both teams were pumped up for a dominating win, but a faceoff between Rohan Raje and Gaurav Jathar added more drama to the contest. The tension erupted in the 19th over when Gaurav Jathar was walking out of the ground after being dismissed on 23 runs. 

The batter was visibly frustrated, and the opposing side was enjoying the dismissal with all happiness. At that moment, a clash of words erupted between Jathar and the opponent player near the dugout area. 


The heated exchange escalated quickly before the fourth umpire stepped in and defused the situation. Later on, Captain Shivam Dube was also seen settling things down between the two sides.

Players pay the price after heated on-field drama

As the Wankhede crowd enjoyed the dramatic clash, both Rohan Raje and Gaurav Jathar faced larger consequences. The MCA handed both players a one-match ban and imposed a fine of 10,000 each. 

A ban after the final match means both stars are set to miss the opening games of their respective teams in the 2027 edition of the league. An MCA official has confirmed the news. 

Speaking to the Mumbai Mirror, an MCA official said, “After the final, players involved in the altercation were called by the match referee, Shreyas Khanolkar. Both Raje and Jathar have been banned for one game each and will miss the opening match of the 2027 T20 Mumbai League. They have also been fined Rs 10,000 each.”

Maratha Royals storm to the title with complete dominance

After a thrilling season of the tournament, the Wankhede crowd witnessed a thrilling final clash between MSC Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri. While batting first, Maratha Royals lost two quick wickets but made a fierce comeback after that. 

Even though Andheri bowlers tried to dominate the opponent, Siddhesh Lad and Chinmay Sutar’s 65-run stand turned the tide. Depending on Sutar’s 61, they put on a total of 154 runs on the board. 

After losing a wicket early on during the chase, Divyaansh Saxena and Arjun Tendulkar added a crucial 339 runs together. Even Saxena showcased character; other batters failed to back him. 

After he walked away scoring 51, Andheri failed to bounce back. With that outstanding domination, MSC Maratha Royals lifted the trophy with an eight-run victory.
